New records to the adventive flora of Graz. Preliminaries to a flora of Graz 1.
Abstract
This publication shows the distribution of some neophytes like Rosa multiflora, Rubus phoenicolasius, Scutellaria altissima, Senecio inaequidens and Setaria faberi, which are about to establish themselves in Graz. New escapes in Styria are reported for Acer tataricum subsp. ginnala, Actinidia deliciosa, Ilex aquifolium and Liriodendron tulipifera (the latter disappeared in Graz again). Catalpa bignonioides, Koelreuteria paniculata, Sorbaria sorbifolia, Scilla luciliae and Scilla cf. sardensis have run to seed in various areas in Graz. Finally, two Anthriscus species with different origins are presented. In addition to recent findings, historical references are given.
