Abstract
Sugar gliders (Petaurus breviceps).
Abstract
Sugar gliders have grown rapidly in popularity and are now commonly kept and bred in the UK. Their small size, cuddly appearance and the ease with which they become tame has contributed to this rise in popularity. Although many owners seek out veterinary surgeons familiar with this species, many are finding their way into general small animal surgeries. This article provides basic information on their care and on some of the commonly encountered medical conditions.
