Louisiana: Bryophyllum daigremontianum and Bryophyllum delagoense (Crassulaceae) new to Louisiana.

Abstract

During surveys conducted in Louisiana, USA, a small population of invasive Kalanchoe daigremontiana was identified based on leaf morphology in New Orleans. A small population of invasive B. delagoense was also observed growing around the base of Quercus virginiana trees in a residential area in Jefferson Parish. The presence of B. daigremontianum and B. delagoense are thought to be new records for Louisiana, USA.
