Abstract

The invasive gall wasp Quadrastichus erythrinae (Hymenoptera: Eulophidae) in South America: is classical biological control needed?

Abstract

The invasive gall wasp Quadrastichus erythrinae, a pest of Erythrina plants, is recorded for the first time in South America in EspĂrito Santo, Brazil. Research on Q. erythrinae and its potential natural enemies in this region is required to determine the need for classical biological control of this invasive pest.
