Aceria tulipae (Keifer, 1938) new record for the Turkish eriophyoid fauna.


Aceria tulipae was found on garlic plants in Tașköprü district of Kastamonu province during 2009 and 2010 years. A. tulipae is new record for the Turkish fauna. In the world this species causes yield loss as well as transporting WSMV and garlic mosaic virus to onions, garlics and wild grasses.
