Influence of global climatic changes on realization of infectious potential diseases of the population in the Russian Arctic regions (on an example of Yakutia) review.

Influence of climate changes on infectious disease of the population in the Arctic regions is discussed. The high probability of reemergence of dangerous infections of the 18th and 19th centuries owing to the defrosting of permafrost soil in places of burial places and possible surfacing of agents or remains of mammoth faunae to the layer of permafrost soil, is decsribed. The epizootic-epidemiological potential of feral herd infections in Arctic regions (Yakutia) is also discussed.
