Exotic weeds in Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve.

Abstract

This paper presents the major invasive weeds in the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, India. The weeds include Hyptis suaveolens, Celosia argentea, Leonotis nepetaefolia and Alternanthera ficoidea. The adverse effects of these weeds on the food web in the tiger reserve are also discussed.
