Abstract
Poplar twig borer, Gypsonoma aceriana (Lepidoptera, Tortricidae) - investigations by pheromone traps in Bulgaria.
Abstract
Pheromone traps baited with (E)-10-dodecenyl acetate at a rate of 100 µg were an effective tool for detection and seasonal monitoring of the poplar twig borer (Gypsonoma aceriana) in Bulgaria. The poplar twig borer has 2 generations per year in Bulgaria. The flight of the first generation begins from middle to end of April and lasts until the end of June. The flight of the second generation begins from the middle of July until the beginning of September.
