Research on tissue culture and rapid propagation of Alocasia macrorrhiza.
The rapid propagation technology system of Alocasia macrorrhiza tissue was studied with dormancy buds as material. The results showed that MS supplemented with 1.0 mg benzyladenine + 0.1 mg NAA/litre induced variable calluses better than general methods, and 0.1-0. 3 cm cuttings from the surface of the material helped variable callus proliferation and differentiation. MS supplemented with 2.0 mg benzyladenine + 0.1 mg NAA + 80 g banana mash/litre had the optimal effect on shoot reproduction. The 1/2MS + 1.0 mg NAA + 0.01 mg benzyladenine/litre medium had the optimal effect on roots and cutting the bottom surface of the materials by 0.1-0.2 cm was conducive to variable callus proliferation and differentiation.
