Abstract

This paper focuses on the importance of introduced conifers in Europe and France and the ecological and genetic consequences of introductions for native forest ecosystems. The changes expected in introduced resources from genetic and ecological points of view and the conservation and sustainable management of introduced conifers are also discussed.
