First record of Coptera haywardi Loiácono (Hymenoptera: Diapriidae) as a parasitoid of fruit-infesting Tephritidae (Diptera) in Brazil.
The first occurrence of C. haywardi as a pupal parasitoid of fruit-infesting Tephritidae species in Brazil is reported. We reared this diapriid from the fruits of Eugenia uniflora (Surinam cherry) infested by Anastrepha fraterculus and/or A. sororcula. We also identified two other species of pupal parasitoids: Pachycrepoideus vindemmiae and Spalangia endius. Four species of larval-pupal parasitoids were also recorded: Doryctobracon areolatus, Utetes anastrephae, Opius bellus and Aganaspis pelleranoi.
