Abstract

Distribution of citrus ring spot virus (CRSV) in different agroclimatic zones of Punjab.

Abstract

A survey was conducted during the first week of March 1997 and 1998 to determine the incidence of Citrus ringspot virus on Kinnow mandarin and sweet orange cv. Jaffa orchards in different agroclimatic zones (arid irrigated, central and submountainous) of Punjab, India. The disease was prevalent in all the three zones. The highest mean incidence was recorded in arid irrigated (84.50 and 77.50%) followed by central (67.00 and 60.00%) and submountainous (44.50 and 40.50%) zones on Kinnow and Jaffa, respectively.
