Abstract

The adult male, female, immature stages, and eggs of a new genus and species of whitefly, Agrostaleyrodes arcanus sp. nov., are described from Taiwan, where the species is widely distributed on Miscanthus sinensis (Gramineae). Scanning electron micrographs and figures are included with descriptions of immature stages and adults.
