Abstract

New records of fungal diseases of some crops in Sikkim, India, are briefly reported; these include zonate leaf spot of maize caused by Stenocarpella macrospora, burn boils disease of broadbean (Vicia faba) caused by Botrytis fabae, leaf blotch of oak (Quercus acutissima) caused by Taphrina coerulescens, leaf spot of field bean (Dolichos lablab [Lablab purpureus]) caused by Septoria lablabina, and leaf spot of wild large cardamom (Amomum dealbatum) caused by Colletotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata].
