Among fungi, the more important ones were Microsphaera alphitoides, Melampsora allii-populina, Drepanopeziza punctiformis, Scirrhia pini [Mycosphaerella pini], Lophodermium pinastri and Fusarium oxysporum. Cameraria ohridella, Caliroa annulipes, Melasoma populi [Chrysomela populi], Hyphantria cunea and Phyllodecta vitellinae were some of the recorded insect pests.
