Abstract

The results of a weed survey during 1995-96 in 103 vineyards of "Campo de Borja", Zaragoza, Spain, are presented. A total of 73 species from 26 families were recorded, with Asteraceae as the main family (19.2%). Therophytic species were the predominant life form (78%). Diplotaxis erucoides, Convolvulus arvensis and Sonchus oleraceus were the most abundant and frequent species. Lamium amplexicaule and Lolium rigidum were associated with winter and spring, while Amaranthus blitoides, Cirsium arvense, Convolvulus arvensis, Chenopodium album and Salsola kali were associated with summer and autumn.
