First record of the predatory insect Nephus bisignatus (Boheman) (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae) in Greece.

Abstract

Nephus bisignatus [N. georgei], a predator of mealybugs (Pseudococcidae), was found in Greece in July 1996 on Thuja orientalis and Pistacia lentiscus infested with Planococcus citri. The biology and geographical distribution are briefly indicated.
