Abstract

Citrus varieties (Jaffa, Blood Red, Hamlin, Pineapple, Mosambi and Valencia late cvs. of sweet orange; Kinnow mandarin; Kagzi lime; Baramasi lemon and Marsh seedless grapefruit) were screened for citrus ringspot virus in the orchard of the Regional Fruit Research Station, Abohar, Indian Punjab, India. The varieties, Kinnow mandarin, Mosambi and Pineapple were highly susceptible to the virus. The development of the biggest (24.2 mm) and smallest (2.1 mm) diameter of ring spots was recorded in the varieties Kinnow mandarin and Marsh seedless, respectively.
