Abstract

Effect of carbosulfan and sebuphos applied singly and in combination on reproduction of Heterodera zeae and growth of Zea mays.

Abstract

Soil application of Rugby 10G [cadusafos] @ 1 or 0.5 kg a.i./ha accompanied with seed treatment with carbosulfan 25 ST (2% w/w) was the most effective treatment reducing populations of H. zeae and increasing plant growth of maize. Foliar spray of carbosulfan @ 250 µg/ml accompanied with seed treatment was more effective than carbosulfan foliar spray alone or with cadusafos soil application.
