Abstract

Major production techniques used in the culture of the major types of live food organisms commonly used in larviculture are described and their application potential in terms of their nutritional and physical properties, and feeding methods are discussed. The manual is divided into different sections according to the major groups of organisms, namely microalgae, rotifers, Artemia, natural zooplankton, copepods, cladocerans, nematodes and trochophore larvae of bivalves.
