Cucumber mosaic virus associated with leaf malformation and stunting in Adiantum pedatum.

Abstract

A. pedantum plants showing virus symptoms were collected from Chadwick Arboretum, Ohio State University, USA, and the symptoms are described. The causal agent was identified as cucumber mosaic cucumovirus in ELISA tests. This is thought to be the first report of a viral disease of A. pedantum.
