Characterization of isolates of Pseudomonas solanacearum from Bangladesh.
Sixteen isolates of Pseudomonas solanacearum [Ralstonia solanacearum] were isolated from diseased Capsicum, aubergines, potatoes and tomatoes. The infected plants were collected from 3 districts of Bangladesh. The infected plants showed profuse bacterial ooze on the cut surface of the stems. The isolates were grouped as biovars II and III and races 1 and 3.
