Abstract

Survival, diameter, height and volume (per hectare and per tree) were measured for 6-year-old progeny of 3 local sources of Eucalyptus viminalis in Buenos Aires province, a commercial source of E. viminalis in Buenos Aires, and Australian provenances of E. viminalis, E. dunnii and E. ovata collected from sites with similar edaphic and climatic characteristics to the test site in Lobos, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Results showed that the local sources of E. viminalis were generally superior to other sources and species.
