Predators of citrus borer complex in Assam.

Abstract

Five species of ants were recorded as predators of citrus pests, including Anoplophora versteegii and Stromatium barbatum in citrus orchards in Assam, India. They were Oecophylla smaragdina, Camponotus compressus, Tetraponera rufonigra, Pheidole, Monomorium floricola. O. smaragdina was the most abundant predator.
