Abstract

Good results were obtained in Ukraine in 1993 with an apple orchard protection system that included 2 applications of Mavrik 2F [fluvalinate] at 1 litre/ha for control of fruit mites [?Panonychus ulmi], tortricids and yponomeutids, 2 of Anthio [formothion] at 1.5 litres/ha for control of 1st-generation codling moth [Cydia pomonella] and yponomeutid larvae, DNOC applied to the dormant buds and also a 2.5% Karate e.c. [lambda-cyhalothrin] applied at 0.5 kg/ha against tortricids.
