Abstract

Citrus ring spot virus - a new record from Punjab.

Abstract

Symptoms were seen on Kinnow mandarins and sweet orange cultivars at Abohar. Conspicuous chlorotic rings varied in diam., and numbers ranged from one to several/leaf. Severely affected plants showed die-back and decline symptoms, resulting in low productivity. The virus nature of the disease was confirmed by symptomatology and transmission studies.
