Abstract

This flora covers 475 species, including 8 bamboos, which may be found in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Tripura, India. Most species are illustrated in whole or in part in 90 line drawings, and identification keys are provided. Data given for individual species include a botanical description, dates of flowering/fruiting, geographical distribution (in NE India, India and in adjacent countries), habitat, economic uses and forage value.
