Effect of indole butyric acid on the rooting and survival of air layers on some agroforestry tree species.
Data are presented on the effect of 0-20 000 p.p.m. IBA on the rooting and survival of air layers made from 7-yr-old trees of 5 multipurpose tree species at Pantnagar, Uttar Pradesh. Optimum concentrations of IBA were 20 000 p.p.m. for Terminalia arjuna, 15 000 p.p.m. for Cassia siamea, 7500 p.p.m for Syzygium cumini and Albizia lebbeck, and 5000 p.p.m. for Anthocephalus cadamba [A. chinensis].
