Evaluation of the gene pool of soyabean (Glycine max Merr.) for resistance to diseases (Phoma, Colletotrichum, Rhizoctonia, Fusarium).
A collection of 24 varieties was evaluated for resistance to P. exigua, R. solani, Fusarium spp. and C. dematium var. truncatum [C. truncatum] by greenhouse inoculation tests and under field infection conditions. High resistance to Phoma and Colletotrichum was shown by Rita, 52, Cervin, 9, 4, Polanka, Maple Arrow, Wanda and Bicentennial. Resistance to root rot caused by Rhizoctonia + Fusarium was high in Rita, Paradis, Alvia and Maple Isle. High yields were given by Cervin, Maple Arrow, Wanda, 40, Rita, Silvia and 9.
