Abstract

Insect predators associated with three species of psyllids infesting forest nurseries.

Abstract

Sixteen species of predatory insects (Coccinellidae, Formicidae, Carabidae, Vespidae, Lygaeidae and Pentatomidae) are recorded in association with the psyllids Acizzia indica, Heteropsylla cubana and Arytaina marsupiae infesting Albizia lebbek, Leucaena leucocephala and Pterocarpus marsupium, resp. in a forest nursery in India. Coccinellids and formicids were the most numerous and effective of the predators.
