Over seasoning and re-infestation cycle of potato tuber moth, Phthorimaea operculella (Zeller) (Lepidoptera: Gelechiidae) in north-eastern hill region.

Abstract

The population dynamics were investigated of Phthorimaea operculella on potatoes in Shillong, Meghalaya, India, in 1984-87. In lower hills and valleys, infested seed tubers were the main cause of reinfestation of the winter crop.
