Abstract

Three genera, Anthracoidea, Farysia and Tracya, and 20 species of Ustilaginales, new to Iran are reported: (1) A. eleocharidis on Carex stenophylla and Carex sp., (2) Entyloma ficariae on Ranunculus ficaria, (3) E. microsporum on Ranunculus muricatus, (4) E. ranunculi-repentis on R. sceleratus, (5) F. thuemenii on C. riparia, (6) Sporisorium aegypticum on Schismus arabicus, (7) Tilletia bromi on Lophochloa phleoides and Nardurus subulatus, (8) T. lolii on Lolium rigidum, (9) T. hydrocharidis on Hydrocharis morsus-ranae, (10) Urocystis bolivari on L. rigidum, (11) U. ceratocephali on Ceratocephalus falcatus, (12) U. corsica on Stipa capensis, (13) U. ficariae on R. ficaria, (14) U. kmetiana on Viola occulata, (15) U. heufleri on Tulipa montana and T. polychroma, (16) U. pamirica on Bromus gracillimus, (17) U. phrygica on Taeniatherum caput-medusae, (18) U. striiformis on Dactylis glomerata subsp. glomerata, Poa annua and P. trivialis, (19) U. trebouxii on Bromus tomentellus and an unidentified Gramineae, (20) U. turcomanica on Eremopyrum [Agropyron] distans. Schroeteria bornmuelleri, collected on Veronica rubrifolia, does not belong to the Ustilaginales.
