Abstract

Field evaluation of certain insecticides for the control of potato tubermoth.

Abstract

Eleven insecticides were tested in sprays against the gelechiid Phthorimaea operculella on potatoes in Maharashtra, India, in 1983-86. As a result of the pooled analysis of 3 field trials, 3 foliar applications of 0.05% quinalphos or monocrotophos at intervals of 15 days beginning 45 days after planting are recommended.
