Invasive Species Compendium

Detailed coverage of invasive species threatening livelihoods and the environment worldwide

Abstract

Evaluation of three tree legume species in Western Samoa.

Abstract

Height growth and biomass production data (including nutrient contents) are reported from 1-yr trials with 3 species (Sesbania grandiflora, Gliricidia sepium, and Calliandra calothyrsus) cut (harvested) on 3 successive occasions - 6, 10 and 13 months after planting as 3-month-old seedlings. The trial was part of an evaluation for use of the species in alley cropping.
