Detailed coverage of invasive species threatening livelihoods and the environment worldwide

Abstract

A new leaf spot disease of Quercus acutissima from India.

Abstract

During Apr. 1987, a serious disease with an av. index of 14% was found affecting leaves and twigs of this tree, on which Tasar silk worms are reared in Manipur. The pathogen was identified as the conidial state of Botryosphaeria ribis. This is a new disease record for India as well as a new host record for the pathogen.
