Distribution maps are provided and colour and black and white photographs and line drawings supported by detailed descriptions which make identification straightforward. Simple keys are presented that enable positive separation of closely related species. Nomenclature, origin, habitat, life cycle, dispersal, properties and control are covered in depth for each species and lists of literature references for further reading are included.
