Abstract

In studies in 1983-86 on the damage and economic threshold of Carposina niponensis [C. sasakii] on apples in Xingchen, Liaoning Province, China, the percentages of fruits with 1, 2 and 3-4 eggs/fruit were 61.11-65.74, 21.69-21.77 and 2.04-7.46%, resp. Equations for calculating the economic thresholds for varieties Ralls and Golden Delicious were developed.
