Fleas of Portugal (Insecta, Siphonaptera). IV - a new record: Odontopsyllus quirosi quirosi (Gil Collado, 1934).

Abstract

Odontopsyllus quirosi quirosi is added to the Portuguese fauna, bringing the number of species/subspecies fleas known to exist in the country to 28. Two males and one female were taken off a fox, Vulpes vulpes, in January 1988.
