Abstract

A total of 22 pentatomid species belonging to 8 genera of the subfamily Phyllocephalinae (species of which commonly feed on graminaceous plants including rice) is described and illustrated with reference to their metathoracic scent gland ostioles and male and female genitalia. Five new species from Pakistan, including Gonopsis pakistanensis sp. nov. from grass, Nazeeriana angulatus sp. nov. and N. dirhynchus sp. nov. from Desmostachya bipinnata, and Schyzops intermedius sp. nov. from Phragurites harka [?Phragmites karka], are described. A key to all species and genera is provided.
