Kudzu eradication trials testing fifteen herbicides.
Over a 2-year period, kudzu (Pueraria lobata) was eradicated with 4.7 and 5.8 lb picloram pellets/acre and with picloram + 2,4-D at 1 + 4 and 1.5 + 6 lb/acre, plus spot retreatments. In another study, 1 lb picloram + 4 lb 2,4-D/acre and 4 lb dicamba/acre applied 4 times from late May to early Oct. controlled P. lobata. Spray vol. did not affect performance.
