Detailed coverage of invasive species threatening livelihoods and the environment worldwide

Abstract

Forest insects: a guide to insects feeding on trees in Britain.

Abstract

A handbook for field foresters and managers, arboriculturalists, students, teachers or field naturalists, covering about 280 species noted for the damage they cause or for some special characteristics of appearance, behaviour or activity. The first part aids identification and indicates forestry or ecological importance (extensive tables are given for 14 broadleaved genera and 8 coniferous genera). Part two deals with the more important pest species or groups of species.
