Micronutrient, phosphorus and pH influences on growth and leaf tissue nutrient levels of Prosopis alba and Prosopis glandulosa.
In factorial experiments in a greenhouse, DM production was most limited by P deficiency and/or Na toxicity. Min. foliar P requirements were 0.13% and 0.16% for P. alba and P. glandulosa respectively, and max. Na was 1.0% and 2.5% respectively. With adequate P and micronutrients, Prosopis was relatively insensitive to pH between 6 and 9.
