Abstract

Thrips flavus causes considerable damage to peas in the hills of Himachal Pradesh, India. In small-plot field tests with 9 types of foliar spray in March and April 1976-78, fenitrothion at 0.05% and thiometon at 0.025% proved the most effective of the insecticides tested for up to 7 days after treatment but required several applications.
