Abstract
Study of the wood quality of four eucalypt species versus papermaking quality.
Abstract
Studies on the extractives content, density, and fibre dimensions of the wood of Eucalyptus bicostata [E. globulus bicostata], E. botryoides, E. deanei and E. dalrympleana indicate that E. bicostata is generally best suited to papermaking. Silvicultural characteristics of the four species are also outlined.
