Abstract

The locality of the find, number of specimens and damage to plant (if any) are noted for the 4 Macroposthonia, 3 Longidorus and 4 Xiphinema species found in the rhizosphere of Rosa damascena grown for commercial production of attar of roses in various regions of Bulgaria. M. anura and M. kralli are reported as new host and geographical records, L. euonymus, L. profundorum, L. sylphus, X. italiae and X. vuittenezi as new host records and M. curvata and X. diversicaudatum as new geographical records [M. xenoplax is also reported as new for Bulgaria in the Russian summary (which agrees with the numbers given in the "Conclusions") but this is not mentioned in the text.]
