Abstract

Two new species of the genus Coccidencyrtus (Hymenoptera, Encyrtidae) from Turkmenia.

Abstract

The two new species of Coccidencyrtus described from Turkmenia (USSR) are C. schizotargioniae from Schizotargionia arthrophyti (Arkh.) on Haloxylon persicum (saxaul) and C. duplachionaspidis from Duplachionaspis noaeae (Hall) on Noaea mucronata. The only other Palaearctic species of the genus is C. steinbergi Chumakova & Tryapitsyn, which was reared from Quadraspidiotus perniciosus (Comst.) (Diaspidiotus perniciosus) in the Maritime Territory of the USSR and also occurs in Korea. A key to the three species is given.
