Detailed coverage of invasive species threatening livelihoods and the environment worldwide

Abstract

The chromosomes of three species of tortricids (Lep. Tortricidae).

Abstract

Examples of Tortrix viridana L. and Cydia pomonella (L.) (Laspeyresia pomonella) collected near Madrid, Spain, and of Pseudococcyx tessulatana (Stgr.) collected in the Spanish province of Murcia were examined cytologically. The chromosome numbers were found to be n=30, n=28, and n=28, respectively. Notes are given on the bionomics, food-plants and world distribution of these species.
