Trees for Darwin and northern Australia.
[Cf. FA 34, 5179] An arboricultural guide to the trees suited to the tropical monsoonal climate of the region, and their choice, establishment and maintenance, with some emphasis on private gardening. Descriptive notes are given on ca. 400 species that have been tried in tropical Australia, in alphabetical order of botanical names, followed by lists of species of potential value for specific purposes (palatable fruit, flowering, coastal planting, shelterbelts, avenues, and street trees).
