Gives details of observations made on Microdiprion pallipes, Neodiprion sertifer, Diprion similis and Gilpinia frutetorum occurring on P. cemhra growing at 1300-1720 m. alt. Young plants (0.5-2 m. tall) were particularly good hosts to M. pallipes, instances of 150-200 larvae per plant being reported.
