Abstract

Some of the species in this systematic list (with keys) of over 100 Ustilaginales of China [R.A.M., 16, p. 840; 33, p. 321] were included in the author's previous publication [28, p. 595]. Among the remainder may be mentioned Ustilago bullata on Bromus unioloides[Bromus catharticus], U. crusgalli on Echinochloa crusgalli, U. heufieri (syn. U. tulipae) on Tulipa edulis, U. maydis on maize [C.M.I, map No. 93], U. striiformis [R.A.M., 33, p. 359] on Hierochloe glabra, U. violacea [30, p. 468] on Dianthus superbus and two species of Silene, Sphacelotheca destruens on Panicum miliaceum [C.M.I, map No. 219], and S. sorghi [No. 220] and Tolyposporium ehrenbergii on sorghum.
